RAVENNA, OH - Dec 2 -- ThrowThings.com LLC (www.ThrowThings.com) was named a Weatherhead Upstart winner for 2008 and was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio at the prestigious black tie Weatherhead 100 Awards Dinner at Landerhaven. The awards were announced by Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and COSE. This is the second consecutive year that ThrowThings.com has received the award.

Since its inception in 1987, the Weatherhead 100 has been the event that showcases the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. Qualifying companies must show consistent growth over the last five years. The Weatherhead 100 and Weatherhead Upstarts lists--objectively determined annually and highly regarded throughout the region--are a testament to hard work, commitment, innovation, and the dream to succeed.

 Using a ranking system, The Weatherhead 100 identified the 100 fastest growing companies based on sales from 2003 through 2007. Also honored were the Weatherhead 100 Centurions - the fastest growing companies in the larger, $100 million-plus sales category that have seen at least the sales growth of the #100 Weatherhead award winners; as well as the Weatherhead 100 top Upstarts, smaller growth companies that have seen at least the sales growth of the #100 Weatherhead award winners.
